Case Study: Community Driven Design in Fort McMurray

The Municipality of Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray) held a city wide design competition for their street banners. The winner’s design was printed on banners by Aurora Flags and Banners and hung on city streets. Their most recent banner showcases ten different artworks of birds local to the Fort McMurray region. Fort McMurray’s regular design competitions for their city banners promote civic engagement, ownership and pride. Aurora Flags and Banners is honoured to be a regular part of this project.
